Expect tiny seed bubbles in the glass, a rim that is very slightly uneven, and a few millimetres of difference in height between two of the same piece. Those are what blown glass looks like, not faults. A crack, a chip or a sharp edge is a fault, and we replace it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eThe coaster\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe coaster is polished dark green marble with pale veins. Marble is softer than it looks: citrus juice and vinegar will dull the polish, so wipe spills promptly. It is 10 cm across and about 1 cm thick, finished smooth on top with a cork disc on the underside so it will not scratch the table. Natural stone varies: yours will have its own pattern of pits or veins.
