Choosing a glass
Which tumbler should I get?
The Rib Tumbler for everyday water, juice and long drinks: 300 ml, and the ribs make it easy to hold. The Facet Tumbler for a short whisky or a smaller pour: 270 ml, smoke-grey. The Heavy-Base Tumbler if glasses get knocked over in your house: its solid green base makes it the hardest to tip.
Which goblet?
The Rib Goblet for red wine and everyday use: short, sturdy and hard to snap. The Bubble-Stem Goblet for white wine or water, when you want to see the colour of what is in it. The Coupe Goblet for sparkling wine and cocktails without ice.
Which one should I not buy?
The Coupe Goblet, if you want a glass to carry across a room full of people: a wide, shallow bowl spills easily. And any of them, if everything in your kitchen has to go in the dishwasher.
Are the glasses sold singly?
Yes. Every price is for one glass, and each tumbler price includes its coaster. Order as many as you need.
Will two glasses match?
Closely, but not exactly. Each is blown by hand, so expect a few millimetres of difference in height and slight differences in colour depth. That is the point of blown glass.
Are those bubbles a fault?
No. Tiny seed bubbles in the wall are normal in mouth-blown glass and do not weaken it. A crack, chip or sharp edge is a fault, and we replace it.
Care
Can they go in the dishwasher?
No. Hand wash in warm water and dry with a soft cloth. Hot dishwasher cycles cloud blown glass over time and can crack a thick base.
Can I put hot drinks in them?
Warm, yes, if the glass is at room temperature first. Not boiling water, and never into a cold glass. Full details on Care & Materials.
Will the coaster stain?
Travertine and limestone can take a stain from wine or coffee if a spill is left to dry. Marble is etched by citrus juice and vinegar. Wipe spills promptly and they will last for years.
Ordering and delivery
Where do you ship?
The United States and most countries worldwide, from Hong Kong. If your country is available at checkout, we ship there.
How much is shipping?
United States: Standard $9.95, free on orders of $120 or more; Expedited $24.95. Everywhere else: Standard $24.95 or Expedited $44.95. Full detail in the Shipping policy.
How long does delivery take?
We dispatch within 3–5 business days. United States: 8–14 business days standard, 5–8 expedited. Rest of world: 10–20 standard, 6–10 expedited. Customs can add time we cannot predict.
What if it arrives broken?
Send a photograph of the glass and the packing within 14 days of delivery. We send a replacement or refund, and you do not need to post the pieces back.
Will I pay import duties?
Possibly. Duties and taxes depend on the country the parcel enters. They are not included in our prices and, if charged, are collected by the carrier or customs.
Can I change or cancel an order?
If it has not shipped, yes. Email the order number and we will cancel and refund it in full. Once it is with the carrier we cannot recall it, but you can return it.
Returns
Can I return something?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery if it is unused and in its original packing. Email us first. The Refund policy has the details.
